Family feedback guides our priorities

What early families use, enjoy and ask for helps guide our priorities.

This offer covers Awenwood, not every future Flying Monkey Workshop product or service.

What’s ahead for Awenwood

Here’s what exists today and where we’d like to take it next. Future sections describe our direction, not delivery dates.

Available now

Quests, routines and family rewards

Quests, My Day, parent approval, Sparks, Wishes and a Family Big Wish. Free includes three built-in routines; Premium adds custom routines and advanced schedules. Device pairing, Meli and the current Village residents are already part of Awenwood.

Next

Village activities, Storybook and sound

Build on resident movement, everyday activities and environmental details. Illustrated Storybook content, more places to discover and a richer soundscape are being developed and tested; they are not promised for the current Closed build.

Planned

Age-based suggestions and routine planning

Suggestions suited to a parent-selected age range, easier routine setup and reuse, and simpler ways to look back at progress. More portraits, seasonal details and accessibility options.

Exploring

Widgets, calendars and more languages

Home-screen widgets, family calendar connections, more languages and new resident experiences. These are possibilities to explore, not announced features.

The roadmap will evolve as we learn from families. Features may change, move or be replaced as Awenwood develops.

Planned guidance for different ages

A direction for future versions

We want future Quest and routine suggestions, wording, visual guidance and activity complexity to fit a parent-selected age range, without asking for an exact birth date. This adaptation is not available yet.

Ages 5–6, for example

Simple one-step responsibilities, such as putting toys away, with stronger visual guidance.

Ages 7–8, for example

Short multi-step routines, such as packing a school bag, with growing independence.

Ages 9–12, for example

More involved responsibilities, such as organizing homework or helping care for the home.

Age is guidance, not a rule. Children develop at their own pace. Parents will be able to edit, dismiss or replace suggestions and choose different activities.

The Village could grow along with them: small visual discoveries with Meli, then multi-step projects with Torven. These are future examples. Village activities will not award Sparks; Sparks remain tied to parent-approved real-world Quests.
